Title: «I could afford love & The Dollar Tree »

Category: Stories/Poems

When my children were small there was enough money for food & to meet basic needs. So, as a special treat, when I had saved enough,I would give them $2.00 each and they could buy any 2 items in the store ((I paid the tax). Now they have children, and though they don't struggle quite as much, the tradition continues with my 5 grandchildren. They were all taught the value of money, and happiness doesn't have to have a big price tag. THANK YOU SO MUCH for allowing struggling parents to maintain dignity and respect in the eyes of their children. Vote for this entry
